Tablets will be distributed to 10540 meritorious students in the state: Sanjay Ratna

Under the Srinivas Ramanuja Scheme, 10,540 meritorious students in the state will receive tablets, enhancing their study facilities. This announcement was made by MLA Sanjay Ratna during the tablet distribution ceremony for outstanding 10th and 12th-grade students at Government Senior Secondary School, Gummar, on Tuesday. A total of 58 meritorious students were provided with tablets during the event.

Jwalamukhi/Dharamsala, January 2, 2023: Under the Srinivas Ramanuja Scheme, 10,540 meritorious students in the state will receive tablets, enhancing their study facilities. This announcement was made by MLA Sanjay Ratna during the tablet distribution ceremony for outstanding 10th and 12th-grade students at Government Senior Secondary School, Gummar, on Tuesday. A total of 58 meritorious students were provided with tablets during the event.

In his address, MLA Sanjay Ratna highlighted the efforts of the state government, led by Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, in enhancing the education sector. Numerous schemes have been initiated to foster a spirit of competition among students.

Ratna emphasized the significant decision to make all primary schools in the state English medium starting from the upcoming academic session, along with the establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools. He underlined that the Jwalamukhi assembly constituency stands out in the country and the state for housing educational institutions across various fields.

Commending the cultural performances presented by students, MLA Sanjay Ratna announced a financial contribution of Rs 11,000 to Government Senior Secondary School Gummar and Rs 5,100 to Government Primary School Gummar to support cultural activities within the schools.

The event saw the presence of officials from various departments, school principal Joginder Kumar, teachers, students, and other dignitaries.
