Talent Quest: A platform for fresh talent organized at Apeejay

Jalandhar, August 17, 2019: Talent Quest: A platform for the Fresh Talent was organized at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar with great pomp and show.

The event was specifically staged for 1st year students whose college journey had just begun. The students participated in various items and showcased their skills. The items were Landscaping, Collage Making, Photography, Cartooning, Installation, Clay Modeling, Poster Making, Phulkari, Rangoli, Declamation, Debate, Poetry, Mehandi, Theatre, Music Vocal, Music Instrumental, Dance, Solo and Group.
The cultural items Latin Romanza, melody of various instruments, a soul lifting Bismillah Taran – a sufi vocal performance and Kathak performance awed the audience as they reflected tradition, grace and culture at its best.

The Chief Guest of the function Diparva Lakra, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar graced the occasion with his esteemed presence. Addressing the young students, he put forth that students should devote towards their work and studies in the most passionate manner. They should adopt the best part of others’ behaviour and culture. He gave them his blessings to take further the name of their college at further glorious heights.

Principal Dr.Sucharita Sharma thanked Diparva Lakra for sparing his time and sharing his valuable words with the youngster. She presented him a token of appreciation and gratitude. She put forth that each and every student is talented and such platforms become the way towards bright career and path of success. She congratulated all the winners and participants. She also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Manisha, Dean Function for successfully organizing the function.
