Talent Show organised in Doaba College

Jalandhar, September 26, 2023: The Talent Show was organized by the ECA department of Doaba College Jalandhar in Virendra Auditorium. It started with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest Sh. Dhruv Mittal, Treasurer College Managing Committee, Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Dr. Avinash Chander- Dean ECA, Prof. Sandeep Chahal- Staff Secretary, Prof. Kuldeep Yadav- Dean Academics, Dr. Naresh Malhotra and staff. After Gayatri Mantra recitation.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandar said that every activity taking place in the college has a motive. He said that some students excel in academics while some in ECA, that is why college organizes various competitions from time to time to bring out the hidden abilities of the students. Dr. Avinash Chander presented the achievements of ECA department in previous year.
The students exhibited presented their talent on the stage in various items. Indian Music Team students- Anurag, Jasleen, Palak, Parveen, Payal, Harpreet, Sujal and Prof. Sandeep Chahal sang song Ravi under the music direction of Daljit Singh Dhillon. They also sang Western Music Group Song – ‘My Girl’. Shubham and Vigyan presented Western Dance. Namrata, Kashish, Jasmeet and Harmanpreet presented Punjabi Folk Dance. Yuvraj recited a self written poem. Vanshika and Tejas sang Hindi Song. College Luddi Team presented Luddi and Bhangra.
Prof. Sandeep Chahal gave vote of thanks. The stage was conducted by Prof. Priya Chopra, Dr. Shivika Dutta, students Amanat and Vidhi.
