Talk On Human Values

Ludhiana, January 28, 2013: Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya Ludhiana Main Centre in collaboration with College of Home Science, PAU, Ludhiana organised a talk on ‘Human Values’ for college Staff and students.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is a unique international organisation which has gained global acceptance based in over 130 countries with some 13,500 centers. It is affiliated to the Department of Public Information (DPI) of the United Nations. It has a Consultative Status with UNICEF. The Commonwealth of Russia has granted official recognition to this university,

The university recognises the intrinsic spirituality and goodness of every human being and helps people to rediscover their goodness within. This believes that education should be for practical life and not merely for vocation or profession.

Speaker B.K. Sushma beautifully explained about the practically application of the values like Humanity, Honesty, Sympathy, and Respect. She told about honesty as having  harmony between thoughts, words and actions. If these are in alignment to each other then we are honest. To incalculate sweetness she explained we must look for good in things. One must have the patience to discover it. In order to attain helping nature she explained that one must feel full inside especially creative in thoughts in giving mode. Let us join hands and observe Human Values with full zest, considering that better world is our common goal and shared vision. Didi will share her experience in this spiritual institution since 1997.She came in 1995 then 1997 she gave her life to serve humanity.
