Health Minister Dr Dhaniram Shandil said in Dharamsala today that Tanda Medical College will be developed as an excellent health institution of the region by strengthening its facilities.
Dharamsala, January 19, 2023: Health Minister Dr Dhaniram Shandil said in Dharamsala today that Tanda Medical College will be developed as an excellent health institution of the region by strengthening its facilities. The Health Minister inspected the super specialty block and all other wards of Tanda Medical College on Thursday. The Health Minister also interacted with the patients undergoing treatment in Tanda and inquired about their well-being. MLA Nagrota Raghubir Singh Bali was also present at Tanda.
While inspecting the major health institutions of Kangra district, the Health Minister also visited Zonal Hospital Dharamshala, Civil Hospital Nagrota and Civil Hospital Palampur and took stock of the arrangements.
He held a meeting with the health department officials in Tanda and Dharamshala and directed them to provide better facilities in the health institutions of the district. He asked the officials to make available all the necessary equipment and machinery in the health institutions of the district. Colonel Shandil said that the government will appoint all the health officers and para medical staff in the medical institutions as per the requirement and emphasis will be laid on the deployment of medical experts in big health institutions.
On this occasion, he appreciated the online appointment system developed by Zonal Hospital Dharamshala for patients. He said that big health institutions should also have arrangements for the stay of attendants of the patients.
The Health Minister paid a courtesy call on former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar at his residence in Palampur. He said that Shanta Kumar has established ideal politics and his suggestions will always be taken for the betterment of the state.
The Health Minister today also visited the house of MLA and AICC secretary RS Bali.
