Tangerine Turfs unveils enchanting ‘Celebration of India’ Collection
Hyderabad, April 28, 2019: In a mere two years since inception, design studio Tangerine Turfs has gradually positioned itself as the place to go for getting the finest of interior design services, furniture and decorative accessories given the amazing array of quality products that are available under one roof. Founded by Ms Deepti Reddy, Ms Snigdha Reddy and Sigi Mulukutla, who left their lucrative professions abroad to float Tangerine Turfs, the design studio delivers customized spaces and products that are high on utility and style, creating a comfortable luxury niche. April 27 of this year marks a major milestone in its track-record as it unveiled a mesmerizing range of new products, a collection that is themed “Celebration of India”. The Collection stands testimony to Indian artistic wizardry. The masterpieces and the priceless collection of furniture, kitchenware and decor reflecting the breathtaking creative streak of Indian artisans won the hearts of the large gathering that honored us by being there at the grand unveiling at Good Cow Café, Road No 21, Jubilee Hills, on a pleasant Saturday evening. According to Ms Deepti Reddy, people were bowled over seeing the ‘Celebration of India’ collection that showcased handcrafted solid wood chairs, sofas, coffee tables, wall décor, cushions, accent pieces and serve ware. “Our first collection is characterized by deft interplays of vibrant colors, patterns and textures. The fabric used ranges from Phulkari to Kanjeevaram and from Manipuri silk to Bhandani, which encompass the creative genius drawn from across the country. In keeping with our motto, the bespoke collection anchors to an all-Indian palette while reinterpreting the design to a contemporary setting.” Ms Snigdha Reddy explained that the “collection is largely handcrafted and handmade, with furniture made of natural wood such as Teak and Beech. This is the differentiation factor when you compare with mass produced assembly line furniture made of engineered wood. The unique choices of colors and textures enhance the ambience by several notches,” she said to a big applause. It is a tribute to the design quality of Tangerine Turfs that present on the occasion were film celebrities like Mr Harish Shankar, Mr BVS Ravi, Mr Raghu Kunche, Mr Venkat Siddareddy and Ms Kousalya. Making it more memorable was the presence of socialites like Ms Sirisha Mulpuru and Swati Kilaru. Speaking of their immediate future plans, Sigi Mulukutla pointed out that, “we intend to go in for the e-commerce platform as we can cater to a larger Pan India clientele that is seeking a unique and attractive product-range, while also placing these niche products in the homes they design”. “Our next few product launches will span across a kids collection theme, a retro theme and an up-cycled theme”, Deepti added. Accolades for Tangerine Turfs come in the form of ‘the Best of Houzz-2019’ award, which is meant to honor design professionals with the most popular home designs, and the fact that one of Tangerine Turfs’ projects has been ranked an envious No 2 in the most pinned homes of 2018 on Pinterest.
