Ludhiana, March 01, 2025: Under Punjab Government’s call for Yudh Nashya Viruddh, a targeted Search operation at five crime/drug hotspot locations in Khanna, Samrala, and Payal was conducted.
According to an official information, total force deployed was as under: 6 DSPs, 7 SHOs, 165 personnel in over 13 teams headed by their in-charges. The teams were given specific targets in terms of POs, listed drug smugglers, and wanted criminals.
Apps like PAIS and VAHAN were used to check suspected persons and vehicles.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Total suspects checked: 66
• Vehicles checked: 35
• Total arrests: 14 (04 thieves, 10 NDPS peddlers)
• Total FIRs: 04 are being registered.
• Recoveries: 20 gm heroin, 150 gm Opium, 7 stolen mobile phones, 150 lomotil tablets
