A Teacher Training Workshop was held at Brillliance World School, Sec-12, Panchkula.
Panchkula, December 30, 2014: A teachers training workshop was held in Brilliance World School, Panchkula which aimed at sensitising the teachers to approach the process of ‘teaching-learning’ keeping the individual learning ability of a child in mind. The teachers were trained in how to identify the strong points in each child and arrange the methodology accordingly. They were also trained to optimise the learning content so as to reduce the gap between the aspects taught and those learnt. The workshop was conducted by Parakaram a well known Psychologist.
His suggestions were thought provoking as they left huge impact on the teachers. Teachers discussed every student’s likes, dislikes, special skills, strengths and weaknesses. Said Sham Sunder, Chairman, Brilliance World School,” A teacher is a friend, philosopher and a guide in a child’s life. Teachers provide guidance, friendship, discipline and love to the students so it becomes very important to train them well in latest teaching techniques. The workshop tried to meet this objective.”
