Teachers Day event held in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 5, 2024: To acknowledge the importance of Teachers Day within the students as well within the citizens of Ludhiana, Vice Chancellor GADVASU Dr. Inderjeet Singh along with university faculty members released significant Art work depicting, theme of teachers day 2024, “Empowering Educators for a Sustainable Future” during the Teachers Day event held in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana,  compiled with aim to educate students to have respect for Teachers and highlight the significance of Teacher’s Day, crafted by Former Additional Advocate General Punjab, Author, Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu showcasing  

VC GADVASU Dr. Inderjeet Singh while launching the pictorial art work along with the faculty members stated that, this is a great way to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and dedication of teachers who play a vital role in shaping the minds of future generations as the prosperity of a nation, the integrity of its politics, the stability of its society, and the upbringing of its youth all hinge on a robust education system, with teachers at its core as Teachers act as lighthouses and impart good values to turn students into responsible citizens. VC GADVASU acknowledged the dedicated work initiated by Harpreet Sandhu compiling the theme in form of Portrait & Brochures highlighting the pivotal role of Teachers towards shaping the future of our nation and he congratulated Harpreet Sandhu for the good work having befitting message for the students to have respect for their teachers. Significant Brochure portraying Teachers significant role towards future of society was presented as a souvenir within the faculty members and students of the University. 

Nature Artist & Author Harpreet Sandhu said that he has compiled the Pictorial Art work to highlight the significance of Teachers Day as it was the great teacher and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who proposed dedicating September 5th, on his birthday, to honor teachers and highlighting their profound impact on society by laying the foundation for future generations as pictorial art work is a testament to the recognition of teachers' efforts and dedication to their profession.
