Jalandhar, September 26, 2023: To enhance the teaching skills of the pre-primary teachers, a workshop was organised in the DIPS School Urban Estate Phase-1 by DIPS Institutions. As a chief guest, CEO Monika Mandotra and DIPS School Director Usha Parmar attended the workshop. DIPS pre-wing advisor Monika Mehta told the teachers how they can improve their skills during the teaching periods so, they will become excellent teachers.
During the workshop, teachers were told in detail about the use of poems and stories to increase children's interest in any subject. The importance of consulting children during circle time, relaxing children during charging time and making children sit in U or C shape in the class was explained. Teachers were asked to create an adjective for themselves from the first letter of their name so that they could motivate themselves.
Educators who performed well during the workshop were appreciated and various activities were also organised. They were also taught the method of making natural book marks.
While addressing the teachers, CEO Monica Mandotra said to teach the students not just as a teacher but as a mother. A preprimary teacher is also a good mother because students are very tiny tots and they need a lot of attention and affection.
