Team Ironman wins MBD Cricket Championship 2019

Ludhiana, September 19, 2019: The 2019 MBD cricket championship for the staff of Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana and MBD Neopolis concluded on Thursday. The three day championship witnessed four matches in three days at ITBP ground Baddowal. The four teams were divided in Team Hulk, Team Ironman, Team Captain America and Team Thor. Each match was of 12 over each and Team Iron man finally won the MBD Cricket championship by winning final match. On Thursday winning team Ironman played friendship match with ITBP Team. In the first match team iron man won the toss and chose to field first. Batting first, Team Hulk scored 100 runs for six wickets in 12 overs and that was successfully chased by Team Iron man. The second match was played between Team Thor and Captain America. Team Thor won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Team Captain America scored 78 runs in 12 overs at loss of four wickets that was successfully chased by team Thor. The final match was played between Team Ironman and Team Thor. The toss was won by Team Ironman and they elected to bat first and scored 99 runs at the loss of wickets in 15 overs. Team Thor chase went in vain and they lost the match by 17 runs. The man of the match in the first match between Team Iron Man and Captain America was won by Dalbir Singh who scored 36 runs and took two wickets. The man of the match in the second match between Team Hulk and Team Thor was won by Bhupender who scored 28 runs and took three wickets. In the final match between Team Ironman and Team Thor the man of the match was won by Manjeet Singh scored 48 runs not out and lead his time to victory.
