Teerthanker Mahaveer University successfully hosts SMART 2023 Conference
Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) has successfully organized the 12th International Conference on System Modeling and Advancement in Research Trends (SMART-2023). The conference, organized by the College of Computing Sciences Information Technology (CCSIT), TMU, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) UP Section, took place on December 22 and 23.
Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh: Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) has successfully organized the 12th International Conference on System Modeling and Advancement in Research Trends (SMART-2023). The conference, organized by the College of Computing Sciences Information Technology (CCSIT), TMU, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) UP Section, took place on December 22 and 23.
With participation from IT experts representing 11 countries, including Bangladesh, Russia, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, China, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Iraq, the event saw a dynamic exchange of ideas and insights. Additionally, participants from 12 Indian states contributed to the vibrant discussions and presentations.
A total of 105 research papers were presented across 15 technical sessions, covering 10 tracks. The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers, including Daniela Parigin from Russia, Maria Simona Raboca from Romania, Abu Bakar Abdul Hamid from Malaysia, and others, providing valuable perspectives on contemporary research trends.
The inaugural ceremony, graced by Shri Suresh Jain, TMU Chancellor, and Mr SN Singh, Director of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, set the tone for two days of engaging discussions. The event also welcomed notable figures from the IEEE UP Section, including J Ramkumar and Varun KR Kakar, as observers.
On day 1, Sanjay Kumar Ghosh, Professor at IIT Roorkee, served as the chief guest, while VK Jain, Dean of Research and Development at HBTU, Kanpur, was the guest of honor. Day 2 featured Prakash Chauhan, Director of NRSC-ISRO, Hyderabad, as the chief guest, and Unnat Jain from META, Pittsburgh, as the guest of honor.
In a gesture of appreciation, guest participants were honored with certificates, marking their invaluable involvement in the conference. Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Director and principal of the Faculty of Engineering & College of Computing Sciences Information Technology at TMU, expressed his satisfaction with the event's smooth execution. He highlighted the conference's role in bolstering TMU's dedication to driving innovation, fostering knowledge exchange, and advancing research trends in the field. The successful hosting of SMART-2023 underlines TMU's unwavering commitment to shaping the future of technological and academic advancements.
