Chandigarh: Ahead of Raksha Bandhan Festival, Ritu Garg and her friends at Advocate Housing Society, Sec-49, have prepared a 10-ft-long-rakhi.
The rakhi carries messages how to prevent ourselves from corona virus.
Ritu Garg said, “I have been spending around two to three hours daily decorating this rakhi, for the past 5 days. I tied it at a tree near entrance of the society to deliver a clear message to all society members to take extra precautions this rakhi which is on August 3.”
The materials like artificial flowers, ribbons and thermocol have been used to make this unusual rakhi.
“We have used coloured satin cloth along with other decorative materials”, said Ritu.
