“Our goal and aspiration have consistently aimed to establish Chandigarh as the preferred hub for literature enthusiasts, ensuring that the festival embodies the contemporary and dynamic essence of our city. This year, we will continue to feature celebrated authors and personalities for exclusive performances, dynamic debates and discussions in various languages, and book launches,” added Dr. Misra.
With regard to the theme of ‘Celebrating Creativity’, Dr. Misra spoke about the importance of innovation and imagination coming together, “This year at Literati, we invite you to join us in embracing 'Celebrating Creativity' as more than a theme, but as a guiding ethos. Creativity, the spark that ignites minds and fuels artistic expression, serves as a beacon guiding us through the vast landscapes of literature and beyond. It is through creativity that we reimagine narratives, challenge conventions, and cultivate deeper understandings of ourselves and the world around us. Let us come together to celebrate the boundless possibilities of creativity, forging connections that transcend borders and inspire generations to come.”
