The book is a powerful turn around in simple interactive dialogue, with incredible examples that help readers transcend their mind
Ludhiana, November 13, 2021: The book, "I Am" was published in Europe a few months back. While the publisher, Europe Books released the book in Europe, it was launched in India today since the pandemic regulations did not allow an early launch due to constraints. The book was launched in PCTE Group of Institutes where several leading authors, critics, and journalists besides other eminent personalities from the industry gathered to double celebrate the birth of a new author and a new book. It is available in India, USA, Canada, Australia and several other leading countries of the world and on portals like Amazon, Google Books, Apple Books, Scribe, eBay, Europebooks, Waterstones, booktopia, coursehero, etc. Ms. Harpreet K Kang, a journalist, an academician, entrepreneur, traveller, and now an author launched her book “I Am”.
The book Launch started with a Lamp Lighting ceremony. Mr. Dinesh Kumar, a career journalist, researcher, academician, and a scholar, who has worked with The Times of India & BBC News gave the opening address and review on the book. Prof. (Dr.) Bhupinder Aziz Parihar, an Urdu poet, translator and editor was the Keynote Speaker. He is a prolific writer with over 50 books to his credit. He analyzed the book based on the post colonial era authors and works done by the contemporaries. He was thorough and diligent with his research and appraisal. He said, ""The opening decades in the West were problematic. The literature of this age introduced four major concerns in modern English writings. Alienation, Quest for identity collapse of communication and search for roots. These were the existential dilemmas and crises that have re-merged today in our post modern times - rather more acutely and more menacingly. The book 'I Am' appears at a time when human faculties are numbed and the thin line between living and extinction has blurred beyond belief."
‘I Am’ is a powerful turn around in simple interactive dialogue, with incredible examples that help readers transcend their mind. It's challenges, and in many ways the sufferings one goes through. The approach to the subject is upfront, with little ambiguity, which leaves the reader stronger and gratified. Harpreet K Kang reveals the simple truths of life that often seem to be hiding in plain sight for most of us. The book supports readers to see things distinctly and empowers them to live with freedom and act through mindfulness.
Ms. Harpreet K Kang said that “I Am” gives the reader a profound understanding of self-evolution, consciousness, and acceptance. The early onset of the pandemic followed by the lockdown was hard for most and it is not very different even today, a year and a half down the line. Many around the world lost jobs and struggled with anxiety, insecurities, etc. Others suffered depression and fear when locked up by themselves alone in their home for months. She further added by saying that the turbulence and unexpected changes severely affected mental health and well-being. Responding to struggles amongst people around her and overseas, a journey, which began with simple friendly counselling, led her to pen down her thoughts in an endeavour to reach the larger masses with her message.
