The action gets even crazier with the introduction of superpowered sheep! Injected with Compound V or Temporary V, these barnyard beasts take flight with a bloodthirsty hunger. The trailer also throws some playful shade at the MCU, with The Deep promoting the upcoming phases of the Vought Cinematic Universe (VCU) as well as the V52 expo. While the show’s creator Eric Kripke has promised occasional cameos from both the universes, he has admitted that there won’t be any full-on team up between the two. He maintained the need to build both shows as existing in the same universe, but he's cautious not to give fans "required reading" just to keep up with an overarching story. "I like the idea that there's strands and Easter eggs that kind of pop back and forth, but full team up — no," he asserted. "I live in total fear of this notion that you have to watch both of them to understand the other one."
With a 21% rise in viewership from the last season with just three episodes, fans and viewers are hooked to any glimpses that the creators provide of the upcoming episodes.
