Mumbai, October 30, 2024: Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently unveiled the highly-anticipated Bromantic drama, Fisaddi. This slice-of-life series explores the intricacies of brotherhood through the story of two siblings, Goldie and Vimal. Once celebrated as the ‘local legend,’ Goldie finds his status slipping as Vimal rises to become the hostel hero, putting their relationship to the test in unexpected ways. With a stellar cast featuring Bhuvan Arora, Poojan Chhabra, Gopal Datt, Rajesh Jais, and Priyal Mahajan, Fisaddi weaves a heartfelt narrative that seamlessly combines comedic and touching moments that resonate with our everyday lives.
Priyal Mahajan, who essays the role of Geetanjali in the series, shared her experience working with the cast, "It was such a blast working with everyone, to be honest. We clicked from day one during the readings, and shooting in Allahabad felt like home as the cast and crew quickly became my family. Even though we were away from our own homes, the atmosphere on set was really warm and welcoming. The cast and crew were incredibly professional, but at the same time, we managed to have a lot of fun together, enriching the entire experience. The crew went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and supported, which fostered a fantastic vibe on set. Overall, it was such a memorable and fulfilling experience.”
Priyal further mentioned, "I still remember how exhausted we’d be from shooting all day in the heat. Yet, every evening, without fail, we’d gather together for dinner. No matter how tired we were, we made it a point to sit, unwind, and chat about life, our scenes, and everything in between. Sometimes, we’d even take walks after dinner, which became this lovely little routine. It truly felt like we had known each other for years, as if there was an effortless connection that made our first meeting feel like a reunion."
