The entire cast is like a huge family

•    How does it feel to make a comeback on Sony SAB with Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai series?
•    It feels fantastic to be back on the show. Jijaji Chhat Par Hain was an amazing show and the audience loved it. The show is making a comeback on audience demand, and as an artist, this is a surreal feeling.  I am very grateful to Sony SAB for bringing the show back and I am happy to work with the team again and introduce the audience to a new storyline with the same comic essence with a twist of mystery.
•    Tell us something about your character?
•    I am playing the character of 'Jaldiram' who owns a sweet shop in Punjabi Bagh. We live in a very big haveli, but the haveli is under dispute with the Jindals who stay a floor above us. We are childhood friends and we are fighting in court for the haveli's ownership. There is a love-hate relationship between Jaldiram and Nanhe. This show depicts the regular nok-jhok between the family members and fights with the people living around. I share an adorable bond with my daughter, and I love my wife as well. The best part about the storyline is the fights between Jaldiram and Nanhe. It is relatable and the kind of dynamics that we do witness around us.
•    What were your thoughts on this new storyline and genre – Comedy meets mystery?
•    This is an exciting concept where the storyline is a blend of comedy with mystery. The show becomes even more exciting when there is an essence of mystery attached to it. The viewers will watch the show with excitement and keep anticipating the next episodes. The characters keep creating rib-tickling moments in between, so the mixture of the two genres is a great choice. The storyline has elements of both comedy and mystery, so it will make the audience laugh and at the same time, it will make them ponder about the suspense. Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai will be a comic treat for our viewers.
•    How excited are you to work with your old co-stars again? How has it been like working with the new cast?
•    I have worked with Hiba Nawab, Soma Rathod and Firoz in the past. I have also worked with Jitu Shivhare and Sucheta Khanna in my earlier projects with Sony SAB. So, Sony SAB is like a huge family and it joins and binds all of us together.
•    Any message for the fans?
•    I want to urge my fans and our lovely audience to continue watching "Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai" as we set to bring a never seen before blend of comedy and mystery. As the show proceeds, there are several twists and revelations in store for our viewers. Sit back and relax and let the comic ride begin.
