Spreading the various colors of Indian flavors and the aroma of delicious dishes in the air, Food festival Rang Vyanjan was organized in MDU, Rohtak. The variety of dishes and the delicious taste of the Rang Vyanjan of Rang Mahotsav attracted the visitors a lot.

Rohtak, March 29, 2025: Spreading the various colors of Indian flavors and the aroma of delicious dishes in the air, Food festival Rang Vyanjan was organized in MDU, Rohtak. The variety of dishes and the delicious taste of the Rang Vyanjan of Rang Mahotsav attracted the visitors a lot.

 

MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh inaugurated this Rang Vyanjan event. Vice Chancellor of Pt. BDS University of Health Sciences, Prof. H.K. Aggarwal was the chief guest of this event. Director PGIMS Dr. S.K. Singhal and President of Rehabilitation Council of India Dr. Sharanjit Kaur attended the program as the special guest. Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. A.S. Mann, Registrar Dr. Krishna Kant, Proctor Prof. Rajesh Poonia, Physicians Dr. Aditya Batra, Dr. Sumit Sachdeva, Dr. Arjun Narula, Dr. Tashi Gupta Narula along with senior officials of MDU and other dignitaries visited the stalls and enjoyed and appreciated the delicious dishes.

 

Coordinator of Rang Vyanjan, Prof. Ashish Dahiya gave a briefing about the event.Faculty members of IHTM coordinated the event. Coordinator of Rang Mahotsav, Prof. Randeep Rana welcomed the guests.

 

Haryanvi dishes - Pooda, Churma, Kheer, Rabdi, Healthy Food Millet Churma, Lassi, Flavored Milk, Pakoras, Bread Pakora, Aloo-Puri, Kadhi-Rice, Raita, Lemonade, Chole-Bhature along with Odisha's traditional dishes were also served during the event.

 

In this food festival, the visitors were enthralled with the music and songs played by the Bean Party and Dhol Party. While enjoying this food festival, tasting various dishes, the people present said- Yeh Dil Maange More.

 

In Rang Vyanjan, first prize was bagged by GVM Girls College (Sonepat), second prize by Kanya Mahavidyalaya (Kharkhauda) and third prize by Vaishya Arya Shikshan Mahavidyalaya (Bahadurgarh). Consolation prize was given to KL Mehta Girls College (Faridabad) and the Odisha food stall of SISTE (Jhajjar).
