Jalandhar, July 6, 2023: The lnstallation Ceremony of the Innerwheel Club Jalandhar was held with great zeal and fervor, as the new team of the club took the reigns from the outgoing team.
The incoming team was installed by PDC's of the club.
The Chief Guest of today's event was Dr. Sushma Chawla.
The meeting took off to a ceremonial start as Neelu Mohindru sang a melodious song during the lighting of the lamp.
Outgoing president Nimmi Chaudhary gave a very emotional farewell speech. She thanked all the members and senior members of the club for their support and cooperation throughout the year. She collared the new President Dr. Harjinder Kaur. Outgoing team members presented their reports to the club members.
The incoming team received their lapel pins as a part of the official installation ceremony. 7 other new inductees were also welcomed to the club. The club honoured 13 doctors namely Dr. Vikram Sood, Dr. Ravi Paul, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Sukhdev Raj, Dr. Harjot Madan, Dr.Manmeet Madan, Dr. Neeru Chottra, Dr. Sudesh Chottra, Dr. Monisha Basson, Dr. Vikram Basson, Dr. Sushma Chawla, Dr. Mukesh Katyal and Dr.Harjinder Kaur for their contributions to the society.
Dr.Harjinder Kaur was installed as the new President, Nimmi Chaudhary was installed as IPP, Poonam Jagota was installed as Vice President, Anju Sharma was installed as Secretary,Sneh Arora as Joint secretary,,while Niru Chawla was inducted as an ISO, Kavita Jairath asTreasurer, Pooja Saini as Editor of the Club.
President briefed all about the forthcoming projects of the month and the year.
Anita Chawla presented various projects of social welfare which were carried out on the occasion.
Gifts were distributed to members having birthdays or anniversaries falling in the months of June and July. Club Charter
Member PDC Jagbans Toor honoured outgoing President Nimmi Chaudhary and Secretary PunamJagota.
Dr. Sushma Chawla shared some insightful words on the importance of fitness. As part of this, she danced wonderfully and encouraged club members to dance as well. The MOC of the event was Inderkiran. Poonam Jagota extended a vote of thanks to all.
Pdc Jagbans Toor, Pdc Adarsh Sood, Pdc Asha Paul, Pdc Kumud Sehgal were present on the occasion and other 35 members attended the event.
