Theatre drama show ‘Battles – The Independence Saga’ staged at Delhi World Public School
Ludhiana, September 11, 2019: Yet another spectacular theatre drama show was organised and held at Delhi World Public School, Ludhiana as a part of International School Awards Activity on 10 September. The theatre drama show was named as ‘Battles – The Independence Saga’. The event was organized and arranged under the support and supervision of Principal Deepa Gupta and members management Vijay Kansal, Vishal Kansal, Gaurav Gupta and Jai Gupta who were present throughout the event. The students and staff of the school marked the occasion by holding a unique presentation of struggles and different experiences of patriots of India. The mentors Pinky Verma and Santosh chose some unique patriots for the theatre drama and choreography. Some of them being Velu Nadhiyar, Begum Hazrat, Veer Savarkar and many more. Model Actress Smriti Oberoi and Actor, Singer Gaurav Nagpal were invited as the Chief Guests for the show. Another known personality Mehak Verma from Kanha Foundation also made the event look more gracious with her presence along with her team members Vinay Lakhanpal, Sunita Kohli, Mahesh Verma and Divya Sharma. Principal Inderpreet Kaur from Sunrise play way school brought forward an educational and graceful performance by the little children on “why trees should be saved !”. Trust member Raminder Singh also graced the evening along with Parminder Kaur, Pavneet Kaur, Harmeet Singh , Jasdeep Singh Oberoi and Parminder Singh. Through this event, children taught everyone that how important it is to remember and refreshen the sacrifices made by various patriots in India. Principal told the audience about how important it is to inculcate the feeling of nation love in the youth. In the end, the chief guests applauded the students for their wonderous performances and efforts. She presented paper dolls, some saplings to the chief guests as token of love. The show was ended with National Anthem and on emotional notes.
