· What is the concept of Bhakharwadi?
This show is very different from what I have been doing previously. It would be really entertaining for the people to watch Bhakharwadi as the concept of the show is full of masala and all the ingredients of humor, emotions, romance, etc. So, the people will feel a change and will enjoy the show a lot.
· Something about your character- Keshav?
My character is very nicely written and has a lot of different shades. He is Anna’s son and is always in office attire, but never really works. However, he gets other people to work. So, it’s a very witty and a naughty character and I instantly loved it when it was narrated to me.
· How has the experience been so far, shooting on the set of Bhakharwadi?
It has been fabulous. This is my third show with Hatsoff production and I can blindly say that it is an amazing team to work with. Since I am working with the actors for the first time, there is that freshness and enthusiasm. There is also a positive energy amongst every one and it makes working together even more fun.
· What made you take up this role?
Firstly, Bhakharwadi being a product of Hatsoff productions and secondly, the fact that Aatish Bhai is writing it. These are the main reasons that pulled me towards this show. Apart from this, I loved my character and was also very excited to be working with such a talented star cast that we have for Bhakharwadi.
· What are your expectations from the show? What will the audience like?
Audience is going to love the show as it is a different flavor, altogether, for them. Bhakharwadi is full of emotions, comedy and has that personal touch which will make the audience relate to it. They are going to identify themselves in some or the other character. Hence, I hope the viewers will love the show and enjoy watching it as much we enjoy working for it.
· Are there any similarities between Keshav and Krunal?
Yes, a lot of them. Just like Keshav is always dressed professionally but doesn’t work, I am somewhat similar; I don’t like doing much work at home.
· Who is your favourite character on the show?
Anna, played by Deven Bhojani and Mahendra, played by Paresh Ganatra. These two characters have so much that can be done as they are very different from each other and as an actor, I myself would love to do different things. For the same reason, I love negative characters as they have no boundaries like the positive characters do. Also, I love the character of Amole as he is very lovable, which you will come to know when you watch the show.
· How would you feel if you had such a principled father in real life?
I actually did have such an experience. My father was similar to Anna- asking us to get up at specific time and insisting us to do work by ourselves and on time. So, although he was such a principled and strict man, we learnt a lot from him and used to enjoy our time with him.
· Do you watch Sony SAB? What is your favorite show on the channel?
I love watching Jijaji Chhat per Hain and of course, everyone’s favorite, Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.
