Hyderabad, April 10, 2019: A unique Run for Caste Free India will be held in the city on 14th April at 6.30am from People's Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad.

Organised by Prabhuddha Bharat International and DICCI(Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) is an association that promotes business enterprises for Dalits. Prabuddha Bharat International (PBI) is an organizations that pursues the vision of Babasaheb Ambedkar until it is realized.

Many celebrities from the film industry, politicians, media, sports, social activists, Dalit entrepreneurs, professionals, businessmen, women, students, young boys, and girls are expected to grace the Run.

Hundreds will run wearing blue T-shirts.“We are humans. There should be no consideration of caste. That was the idea and ideal of Dr. B.R Ambedkar whose birthday we are celebrating soon. He strove and thought for a caste-less society. The best tribute to him would be to demolish the caste system,” informed the press note issued by DICCI in the city

Many social organisations including Oxley are supporting the event.

This is the 8th edition since 2012.

Nearly 10,000 people are expected to participate in the run. The response to the run is increasing each passing year informed DICCI.
