BSNL employees Union, National Federation of Telecom Employees Union, All India, BSNL Executive Union, All India Graduate Engineer and Telecom Officer Union and Sanchar Nigam Executive Employees Association (India) staging protest at Ferozepur.
Ferozepur, October 30, 2012: On the call of Joint Forum BSNL and MTNL, BSNL employees Union, National Federation of Telecom Employees Union, All India, BSNL Executive Union, All India Graduate Engineer and Telecom Officer Union and Sanchar Nigam Executive Employees Association (India) staged protest infront of the office of the General Manager (Telecom) to press their demand for sending back the Indian Telecom Services (ITC) to their parent department who are on deputation or they may be absorbed permanently in BSNL.
As per the sources, in case the genuine demands of the employees are not accepted immediately, the employees would be proceeding on indefinite strike for which the responsibility would be that of the officers of the department.
