A three-day photo exhibition on 9 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan depicting overall development happened in various fields in the country has started today at the Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here, today. It will continue and remain open for public till November 10, 2023.

Ludhiana, November 8, 2023: A three-day photo exhibition on 9 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan depicting overall development happened in various fields in the country has started today at the Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan here, today. It will continue and remain open for public till November 10, 2023.
Organised by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of Jalandhar in coordination with district administration, it was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner Upinderjeet Kaur Brar. District Education Officer (S) Dimple Madan was the Guest of Honour whereas SDM Harjinder Singh was the Special Guest. Distt Food and Civil Supplies Officer Navneet Kaur also graced the occasion.
Special stalls on bad effects of Stubble Burning and how to manage stubble were put up by the Agriculture and Pollution Control Board to make people aware specially youngsters. A stall on Ujjwala scheme has also been put up to help concerned people to get gas connections.
Voter awareness lecture by the Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Jaspreet Kaur was delivered and people were told how to download 'Voter Helpline Mobile Application' and use it to register oneself as a voter while sitting at home.
Field Publicity Officer of the Ministry Rajesh Bali said that such exhibitions are being organised across the country for the awareness of the general public. It is showcasing development activities and progress made in the country in the last few years in the form of infographics.
A Rangoli competition by District Programme Office on the theme of stubble burning and Swachhta was organised and winners were awarded.
Tomorrow, special lectures on Traffic Rules and Regulations and Bad effects of stubble burning will be given by the concerned experts.
