TiECON Chennai 2019 recognises outstanding entrepreneurs from Tamil Nadu

Chennai: TiECON Chennai 2019, the renowned, mega entrepreneurial event witnessed a grand celebration of the Entrepreneurs Awards, as the winners in different categories were honoured for their accomplishments and contributions to the society.
TiE Chennai announced the winners for different categories at a stunning event in the presence of Chief Guests Mr. N Kumar, Vice Chairman, Sanmar Group and Prof. C. S. Seshadari, Founder & Director-Emeritus Madras Mathematical Institute. The award ceremony was attended by over 400 delegates including industry leaders, successful entrepreneurs, emerging startups, academicians and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the nation.
With the theme for this year being #FutureReady and the conference focused on Gen-E, TiECON Chennai 2019 Awards was attended by a veritable who's who of Chennai's business and entrepreneurial circles, including established business leaders, well-known first generation entrepreneurs, start-ups, C level executives, etc., who appreciated the exclusive and unique platform that TiE Chennai had created. It offered them an opportunity to interact with the entrepreneurial community and related communities like VC’s, Angel Investors, Regulators, Bankers, etc.
The TiECON Chennai 2019 Award winners are:
• Lifetime Achievement Award – Prof. M S Ananth, former Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, for his contributions as a visionary leader of higher education in India, a committed researcher and his excellence in basic research in Chemical Engineering
• Dronacharya Award – Mr. Arun Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Intellect Design Arena Limited and Chief Mentor of FinBlue, a Fintech Centre of Excellence set up by GOI at Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Chennai. Recognized for his contributions to the industry as an exceptional entrepreneur and now an investor, mentor and philanthropist
• Sustaining Enterprise of the Year – Mr. Gautam Sarogi, Go Fashion India Pvt. Ltd
• Scale Up Enterprise of the Year – Mr. S.G. Anil Kumar, Samunnati Financial Intermediation and Services Private Limited
• Startup of the Year – KritiLabs Technologies Private Limited
• Associate Member of the Year – Mr. Arun Prakash, Guvi Geek Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
