Many IT companies caught unaware of the second wave.  Many of their employees have fallen prey to the virus. As a result, productivity has hit badly. The remaining staff is burdened with the increased workload.

That is why many companies want their staff and even their families vaccinated at their campuses or at a third party medical facility.  Many of them are talking to hospitals for a possible tie-up.

Quadrant Resource, a US headquartered IT company with a good presence in Hyderabad recently announced that they tied up with Gleneagles Global Hospital to vaccinate their IT employees

Bharani Aroll, President of HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) said IT companies are looking at solutions to make it easier for their employees to get vaccinated. So they are looking at options of inoculating their staff and family members on Campus or off Campus.

Vaccination is the only protection to fight against the COVID. The Government alone can't fight the covid. We all must strengthen the efforts of the Government by joining in their effort to inoculate the staff of the organization says a senior executive with a big IT company who doesn’t want to be identified.

Hyderabad is a home to 1450 IT companies. The sector employees well over 6 lakh employees. It is not that just IT companies, but many other companies are also looking forward to vaccinating their staff.

Now that vaccination is open to people above 18 years from May 1, companies are seriously planning vaccination programs.

They are also in the process of finalizing tie-ups with hospitals and liaising with government officials for jabs.

If employees have to return to their work they want protection that all co-workers are vaccinated. Even employers want their employees back because not all the jobs can be done remotely. Companies are also re-arranging office space in ways that potentially minimize the spread of viruses.

Similarly, like these organizations, if every residential complex, apartment and gated community, colony decides to vaccinate, it adds to the effort of the Government.

With a 130 crore population, it is not easy to vaccinate the second most populous country in the world. Organizations like these many need to support the government in their effort. We must live as role model for the rest of the countries in the world. If the second-most populous country like India can do, why not we, the countries must say
