Tiny Tots of Innokids of Innocent Hearts celebrated 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Jalandhar, November 7, 2019: Kids of Innokids – the Pre- Primary School of Innocent Hearts (GMT, Loharan, CJR and Royal World) celebrated Gurupurab to mark the 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, while apprising children of its significance. Students came dressed in traditional attire. The students did jaap of ‘Waheguru - Waheguru’ and recited ‘Mool Mantra’. The importance and meaning of “Kirat Kro, Naam Japo Te Vand Chako” was explained to the students. They were taught that Guru Granth Sahib ji is a secular granth and preached all to rise above petty differences and weaknesses. The students were motivated to follow the principles of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib that “God is Omnipresent, Respect all religions.” in order to replace the darkness of negativity with the light of knowledge. These activities connect the children with their culture.
