TMC activists allegedly beaten & attacked with bombs by rivals, 13 held

Kolkata, June 25 (HS): Trinamool Congress workers in West Bengal were allegedly assaulted and bombed by members of the Left-Congress coalition. The event occurred at a planning meeting for the impending panchayat elections. According to the TMC, the assailants, who claimed to be from the Left-Congress alliance, began an attack during the meeting, injuring four TMC partymen. The Congress party, on the other hand, refuted the charges. When the police were informed of the occurrence, they quickly rushed on the scene and apprehended 13 persons.
