Top 15 Contestants of Sony Entertainment Television’s Superstar Singer 3
Welcoming extraordinary talent from across the country, Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown kids singing reality show, Superstar Singer 3 has begun on a high note! After multiple rounds of auditions, the third edition of the show has come one step closer to finding ‘Sangeet Ke Naye Hunar, Jo Banenge Kal Ke Darohar’, with its ‘TOP 15’ contestants. Putting the spotlight on 15 young voices under the mentorship of the Super Judge, Neha Kakkar, and the captains - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayali Kamble, Mohd. Danish and Salman Ali – the show has already won hearts with a high standard of musicality. The Grand Premiere this weekend will reveal the ‘Top 15’ contestants, who will be divided into 5 teams with 3 contestants in each Captain’s team.
Chandigarh’s Laisel Rai, a 14-year-old singer, left Neha Kakkar emotional on the show as she sang ‘Mile Ho Tum Humko’, so much so that Neha Kakkar complimented her saying that Laisel’s version was better than hers. 13-year-old Master Aryan from Punjab sang ‘Dillagi’, which made captain Salman Ali and Mohd Danish give him a tight hug as they were moved by his singing. 8-year-old Pihu Sharma, also known as ‘the drama queen,’ from New Delhi, didn’t just impress everyone with her soulful rendition of ‘Voh Tere Mere Ishq Ka’ but alsoowned the stage with her confidence. They say music has no language, and 13-year-old Devanasriya Koomullil from Bangalore proved this with her incredible talent. Even though she is not well versed in Hindi, her rendition of 'Tere Mere Beech Mein' was so enchanting that it left everyone spellbound. 11-year-old Atharv Bakshi, from Maharashtra, won Neha Kakkar’s heart in the audition round by singing ‘Patta Patta Boota Boota’. Mesmerized by Atharv's talent, Captain Danish Mohd couldn't resist going on the stage to hear him sing up close. Multi-talented 14-year-old Shubhodeep Sutradhar from West Bengal’s voice not only won the hearts of Neha and the captains; but he also managed to impress music composer Pritam Chakraborty, who personally messaged Neha Kakkar and requested Shubhodeep to sing his hit song 'Kesariya' in the Final Auditions. 10-year-old Nishant Gupta from Gurugram, impressed one and all with his version of ‘Albela Sajan’, convincing Neha Kakkar and the captains to give him a direct entry in the Top 15. UP’s 13-year-old Kshitij Saxena touched everyone’s heart with his heartwarming version of ‘Satranga’, so much so that the original music composer of the song, Shreyas Puranik, specially came in the final auditions to witness his magical voice and sing along with him.
UP’s 14-year-old Khushi Nagar sang ‘Chal Tere Ishq Mein’, which made Neha and the captains go on stage and sing along with her, turning it into a singing concert. Kochi’s Vaishnavi Panicker, all of11 years, stood out as she sang ‘Pal Bhar Mein Yeh Kya Ho’. Kolkata’s 13-year-old Rajdeep Ghosh’s soul-stirring rendition of 'Zindagi Kaisi Yeh Paheli' not only moved the captains and the Super Judge but also filled his father’s heart with pride. Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka, 7-year-old Anirbhav S from Bangalore, impressed everyone with his rendition of 'O Saathi Re’. Anirbhav’s adorable ‘OK’ reactions to Neha Kakkar’s questions made everyone go “aww”. The bubbly 11-year-old, Diya Hegde from Bangalore, impressed everyone with her beautiful singing of 'Ek Do Teen’. Social media sensation, Miah Mehak from Kochi, charmed everybody with her vibrant personality, and her performance of ‘Poocho Zara Poocho' has added to her fan base. The charming 9-year-old Santanu Mohanty from Bhubneshwar, channeled his inner King Khan and in true Shahrukh Khan style, he sang 'Jabra Fan', making everybody his fan.
