Chandigarh, April 15, 2022: YONO SBI All India Open Masters’ Badminton Tournament, 2022 lived up to its reputation with more than 250 + matches being played on day 2. Top seeds in most of the categories advanced to the Quarter finals.
In Women's Singles 35+ category Aditi Rode of Maharashtra defeated Geeta Agarwal of Chandigarh 21-12, 21-15. In Ms 60+ Category top Seed Mr Harjeet Singh of Delhi defeated Umesh Agrawal of Rajasthan 21-11,21-10. In Mens Doubles 50+ category top seeds Rajneesh Bhatia( chd) and Navdeep Singh( PB) defeated Ashok Kumarand Sudhir Goel 21-12, 21-5. In MS 65+ category Satpal Angurala of Haryana defeated Manohar Joshi 21-18,21-13. In another gruelling match in MS 65+ category Mr Anil Sondhi of Chandigarh DEFEATED Shokt Noor Mohd (27-29 , 24-22,21-15)in a see saw contest which lasted over 1 hour
