The body of Jaspal Bhatti being handed over to his relatives after post mortem at Civil Hospital, Jalandhar on Thursday.
Ludhiana/Jalandhar, October 25, 2012: Renowned comedian, actor and satirist Jaspal Bhatti’s son Jasraj Bhatti has told the media persons that the car in which he alongwith father and others were travelling, had collided with a roadside tree near Shahkot in Jalandhar district in wee hours of this morning.
Jasraj is undergoing treatment at local DMCH.
When media persons contacted him at the hospital at Ludhiana, Jasraj told that while driving, steering of the car got imbalance all of a sudden following which the car collided against a roadside tree.
He was driving the ill-fated car.
Earlier, it was reported in these columns that the car had collided with a tractor trolley.
The sources at DMCH told City Air News that the condition of Jasraj and other injured namely Surili Gautam and Navneet Joshi is out of danger.
Meanwhile, the body of Jaspal Bhatti was brought to Civil Hospital at Jalandhar today.
The doctors conducted the postmortem following which the body was handed over to relatives of the deceased.
