Training of government officials to adopt digital techniques
Panchayat secretaries, accountants and e-panchayat computer operators of District Ludhiana participate
Ludhiana: Mr Charanjot Singh Walia, Deputy CEO, Zila Parishad Ludhiana, informed that on the directions of Rural Development and Panchayat department, a Digital India programme is being run by the Union government. He said that with an aim to bring in transparency for carrying out village level development works, a training for all panchayat secretaries, accountants and e-panchayat computer operators of district Ludhiana was held today.
He informed that this training was given by Mr Amrinder Singh Cheema, Application Manager, from head office and Mr Deepak Kaushal, Network Manager. He stated that the participants were informed about online portals in detail so that from next fiscal, the payment of grants and expenditure should be carried out digitally.
