Transport Department and traffic police launch drive against traffic violators 

Ludhiana, September 6, 2022: In its special drive against traffic violators, the transport and traffic police conducted checking in various parts of Ludhiana and challaned 30 vehicles on Tuesday. 
Among these vehicles, three buses and a truck was also impounded. 
The checking was led by RTS Secretary Narinder Singh Dhaliwal along with Joint CP (traffic) Gurdayal Singh, ACP traffic Gurpreet Singh and GM roadways Navraj Batish. 
During the drive, 30 vehicles were issued challans for violations besides impounded three buses and a truck.
The officers said that checking at different areas would be a constant feature now and the violators would not be spared at any cost. They exhorted the people to follow traffic rules as it would help in streamlining traffic system in the city thereby reducing the accidents in the city. 
They also warned the people that any violator found breaking the traffic rules will not be spared at any cost.
