Transport Minister Raja Warring lays foundation stone of Bus stand at Mudki
Punjab Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Monday laid the foundation stone of a bus stand to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.71 crore at Mudaki in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, December 27, 2021: Punjab Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Monday laid the foundation stone of a bus stand to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.71 crore at Mudaki in Ferozepur, boosting the infrastructure of the area. The bus stand to be constructed under the guidance of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi would be equipped with modern facilities. The bus stand would be constructed on about 17 kanals of land.
Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Raja Warring said that there was a need to meet the old demand of the area for the last many years which has started today with laying of this foundation stone.
On the occasion Transport Minister Mr. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring slammed the Badals for their 10 years of misrule.He said that during the tenure of ShiromaniAkali Dal Mr. SukhbirBadal had set up transport mafia in his private buses and looted the revenue of the state.He said that the Badals during their misrule had created sand mafia, drug mafia, cable mafia and transport mafia and looted the people of the state.He further said that Channi government has appointed him as Transport Minister by showing confidence in him.He said that in the last two and half months as the Minister of the Department, he has increased the revenue of the department by 1.28 crore per day and his objective is to increase this revenue to 2 crore per day.
Describing the Congress government as a benevolent party, he said that the party was ready to take all possible steps for the welfare and development of the people of the state. He said that the Channi government has given me an open hand to deal with the tax evaders so that we can increase the revenue of the state government by controlling the tax defaulters .
On the occasion MLA SatkarKaurGehri thanked Transport Minister Raja Warring for giving this (bus stand) to the area. He said that so far Rs.7.74 crore has been spent on development works in the area. Apart from this, many sports kits and gyms have been opened in the villages to keep the youth away from drugs and to engage them in sports.
Apart from ADC General Ferozepur Om Prakash, General Manager Roadways FerozepurAmitArora, Executive Officer Nagar PanchayatMudkiNarinder Kumar, RTA Pardeep Singh Dhillon besides Jasmeel Singh LadiGehri and other Congress leaders and a large number of workers were present on the occasion.
