TRAX-RX SPEED bicycle with 18 speed gear system launched

Ludhiana, February 3, 2013:GRL International Ltd., a subsidiary of Govind Rubber Ltd. which has a plant in Ludhiana, today announced that it had launched “Trax – RX Speed” premium bicycle with Shimano gear system having18 speed grip shifter.

The new bicycle  has alloy rim with nylon tyre, disc brake system, quick release seat bolt, suspension system on frame and fork, side stand (auto lock type) etc. It is available in two color combinations, black and red and black and white. This 18 speed bicycle has MRP of Rs. 8,000. It is also available in single speed with MRP of Rs. 5500.

The Company also announced the launch of “Trax –Cyclops” which has a frame size: 26”X 19”, stylish frame design with over size tubing. Trax-Cyclops has quality side pull brake with friction free cable for easy braking. It has strong integrated carrier as well as handle bar with bar end for rider convenience, comfortable saddle with spring, quality side stand powder coated-black, attractive designed holographic stickers etc. It has MRP of Rs. 4000.

Vinod M. Poddar, Chairman and Managing Director of GRLstated that the company planned to expand the manufacturing capacity of bicycles at its Ludhiana plant from 25,000 a month to one lakh per month by March 2013. The company will invest Rs. 30 crore for its expansion plan in Ludhiana.

For the first time in the Indian Bicycle Industry, Trax Bicycles are the only bicycles having 50 servicing locations spread all over India for quick and easy serviceability and availability of the product range. The company has 6,000 dealers’ network pan India.
