Chandigarh: A tree plantation drive was organized in Panjab University, Chandigarh which started from Women Hostel No. 6 (Mother Teresa Hall) and was done in all the university hostels on the occasion of World Environment Day. An online slogan writing competition on the theme “Time for Nature with focus on 1 million species facing Extinction” was also organized on this occasion for the residents of the hostels which was appreciated and actively participated by the students
