Jalandhar, November 17, 2014: A troupe from Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar performed at a grand Alumni Meet organised in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi under the aegis of Apeejay Education Society which runs 29 Institutions across the country with 48 years of legacy in the field of education.

The special guest was the celebrity T.V. anchor and actor Manish Paul who was an alumni of Apeejay School, New Delhi.  The highlight of the evening was a beautiful and soul touching Sufi performance by Anadi Mishra, student of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, to the accompaniment of sufi group dance. Bennet, a student of M.A.-I (Music Vocal) of Apeejay College of Fine Arts and his group gave an enchanting qawali performance. 

Amongst the distinguished attendees at the Alumni Meet were Sushma Paul Berlia (Co- promoter & President- Apeejay Education Society), Prof. Baroness Tessa Blackstone, Former Minister for Education (UK) & International Advisor, Apeejay Stya University, Aditya Berlia and Nishant Berlia, and Dr. Sucharita, Principal of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. 

Talking about the Grand Alumni Meet, Dr. Sucharita said that the talented students of the College so impressed the audience that were invited by Manish Paul to perform in the show “India’s Got Talent.”
