TSPL conducts career counselling sessions for students

Bathinda: Employees of Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), the largest thermal power plant in Punjab, and its business partner for operation & maintenance, STEAG conducted a career counselling sessions for the students of Govt Senior Secondary High School, Chehlanwali in Mansa. Virtually connecting with over 60 students, the employees shared personal experiences with the young minds and guided them on exploring potential career options available post completion of schooling.

The volunteers deep dived into opportunities in engineering, law, cinematography, sports, music, teaching, mass communication, journalism and many more streams. They also oriented the students on how to go about choosing the right colleges, preparing for entrance exams and striving for professions of their choice, including government jobs. They motivated participating students, especially the girls, to work hard, explore their interests and shared with them several, new and emerging career options.

Speaking about the session, Vikas Sharma, CEO & WTD, TSPL said, “ We will continue to work for our communities and nurture the future generations, fulfilling our mission to transform lives in areas where we operate.”
