Two-Day Capsule Course on Hands-On HPLC concludes
The Department of Microbiology at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) successfully completed its two-day capsule training course on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). 24 M.Sc students across the different disciplines of life sciences participated in the program and gained practical expertise and theoretical knowledge in HPLC.
Rohtak, June 12, 2024: The Department of Microbiology at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) successfully completed its two-day capsule training course on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). 24 M.Sc students across the different disciplines of life sciences participated in the program and gained practical expertise and theoretical knowledge in HPLC.
Program convener Dr. Krishna Kant Sharma said that the capsule course provided a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It began with foundational lectures on chromatography and the specifics of HPLC, followed by hands-on sessions where students engaged directly with HPLC instruments.
In the valedictory ceremony Er J.S. Dahiya (XEN, MDU) was the chief guest, who encouraged the students to keep learning the skills. Participants appreciated the program's comprehensive nature and the expertise of the instructors. Faculty members Dr. Pooja Suneja, Dr. Anita Santal and Dr. Rajeev Kumar Kapoor along with research scholars and technical staff were present on the occasion.
