Two day city Youth Congress leadership development workshop starts
Chandigarh, October 27, 2021: Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee President, Subash Chawla inaugurated ‘Yuva Kranti’ , the two day Chandigarh Youth Congress’ state level leadership development workshop at a hotel here on Wednesday. During the workshop the city youth cadre would be geared up for the upcoming MC poll.
Around 70 state office bearers including training coordinators are taking part in the workshop.
National in-charge of the Indian Youth Congress, Krishna Allavaru also attended the workshop today.
Addressing the workshop he said,” Chandigarh Youth Congress is going to play a pivotal role. We will ensure the victory of the Congress party. All the necessary effort will be put up by all our activists. The BJP has played and cheated with the people of Chandigarh. Through door to door campaigns we will reach out to the last man and make sure people elect responsible cooperation in the form of congress government.”
Subash Chawla said that in the MC poll this time the role of youth would be crucial and decisive. Understanding this we have planned the workshop where our youth cadre would be given training by professional trainers on various aspects of poll. They would be trained well about party agenda and vision and to counter opposition propaganda as well. Their main roles would be to carry party plans and agenda to the general public so at grass root level everyone should have a clear image of Congress vision and its roadmap for Chandigarh development in general and public welfare in particular.
Vaibhav Walia , national secretary & national head of social media and in-charge chandigarh, Indian Youth Congress said that during the workshop the participants would be mobilized and trained for upcoming MC pol in Chandigarh. . They would be imparted training on booth management, roles and responsibilities during the poll besides how to manage social media and other poll propaganda related works.
Manoj Lubana, Chandigarh Youth Congress President said that the MC elections will be fought on development issues. The villages and certain areas of Chandigarh are plagued. Though parts of the city beautiful, these areas are close to the standards of a sub-urban or rural area and the situation has only deteriorated in the BJP regime. Drinking water and sewerage are also major issues.
