LUDHIANA, March 6, 2018: As many as 312 candidates were shortlisted by the various companies that took part in a two-day job fair organized by District Bureau of Employment Generation and Training on March 5 and 6 at Government Institute of Textile Chemistry and Knitting Technology, Rishi Nagar.
The job fair held under Ghar Ghar Rozgar scheme of Punjab Government.
A total of 765 youths including 10th, 11th, 12th pass outs and graduates registered themselves in the job fair.
Deputy Director Employment Generation and Training Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma said that efforts were made to motivate the youths to take part in this two-day job fair so that they could avail the opportunities for getting employment in renowned companies.
She said that representatives of 48 companies participated in this two-day job fair. She further told that first day was for technical students meanwhile Tuesday was for all categories of the youths who registered themselves.
