Students participate in Two-Day UGC sponsored Workshop that concluded at KMV, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, June 3, 2015: A Two-Day UGC sponsored Workshop on ‘Web Security and Secure Web Development’ organised by the PG Dept of Computer Science of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya concluded successfully. This workshop was organised specially for the students of M.Sc. (IANS) with CDI. On the second of the workshop, students participated with great zeal and a curiousity to learn new aspects of various topics related to Cyber. The chief speaker Mr. Lovedeep Singh Chhabra explained the knowledge about Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, Blind and Error based SQL Injection attacks etc. He also imparted knowledge about Load Balancer, which is a solution to DDOS attacks. Mr. Chhabra also made the students clear about various techniques to being protected and also how to detect if some attack can be done or not. The students were very eager to learn about the intricacies of such topics. They not only did the entire practical themselves in the Forensic Lab but also learned how to develop various codes pertaining to such modules.
