Two Day Workshop on RTI at PU

Chandigarh, February 13, 2019: The Centre for Academic Leadership and Education Management- CALEM Panjab University under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission for Teachers Training (PMMMNMTT) of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is organising a two days workshop on the theme RTI: Awareness Issues and Challenges on 14-15 Feb 2019 at ICSSR Complex, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The program is targeted to benefit PIOs in educational institutions through interactive sessions with experts in the field. Dr. Jyoti Rattan, Department of Laws, Program Coordinator informed that The Inaugural Session on 14th Feb 2019 will be graced by Prof. Shyam Sundar Pattnaik, Director National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) as the Chief Guest, Dr. V. Vijaya Kumar, Vice Chancellor, National Law Institute University, Bhopal will be the Key Note Speaker and Prof. Sudesh Kumar Sharma, Former State Information Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) will be the Guest of Honour. For the Valedictory Session the Chief Guest will be Hon’ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih, Judge High Court of Punjab and Haryana. The Valedictory address will be by Prof. Nishtha Jaswal, Vice Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. The technical sessions of the two days will be enriched by various Information Commissioners, Professors and other dignitaries who will present and interact with the audience on the various RTI related issues and topics.
