Two found positive in Kangra District on Thursday: DC

Dharamshala: On Thursday two new cases of corona positive were registered in Kangra district of the state. Both of these cases are females.
One lady 24 years working in a software firm in Mumbai returned Home in village Ghurkari of Kangra on 9th May along with 2 family members and 1 more passenger from Nadaun in Taxi from Mumbai. The Taxi returned back the same day. DC further said that they all started on 7th from Mumbai and reached on 9th May here. She was put under Home Quarantine immediately. She turned symptomatic on 12th and sample was collected on 13th. She turned positive today.All her contacts are being identified and their samples will also be taken for resting.
In another case a 57 year old Female resident of Sheela Chowk, in Dharamshala Municipality area, who came from Delhi two days back admitted at Tanda direct on arrival from Delhi, tests positive. DC said that she was being accompanied by three other persons while coming from Delhi. The needful is being done to get others tested too.
With this the total positive cases registered in the district so far are 18, out of them 5 recovered and one died.
Meanwhile, cases have been registered against two persons for breaching home quarantine at Panjahara in Una and Shekhpura in Kandrori. He told that those who violate home quarantine, will be fined Rs. 50,000 and cases will be lodged against them. He urged all people coming from other states or areas to observe a home quarantine of 28 days and follow social distancing.
A decision has been taken to keep people coming from red zone at institutional quarantine, including people having flu symptoms from other zones too. People coming from Baddi-Barotiwala will also be kept in institutional quarantine. Random samples of people arriving from other states are also being taken.
