Two students of Lyallpur Khalsa College selected in Indian Army
Two students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have joined the Indian Army as Agniveer.
Jalandhar, November 18, 2024: Two students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have joined the Indian Army as Agniveer.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh while facilattaing them in his office said in a press release that both the students, Prince and Sayiam, are cadets of the NCC Army Wing of the college and are students of Diploma in Computer Science. Earlier, their written examination was held at Ludhiana for this recruitment. Their physical test was conducted in Jalandhar, in which both got 'A' grade. Indian Army has given appointment letter to them after they passed the medical test. He further said that NCC unit of the college affiliated to 2 Punjab NCC battalion and our students are also regularly participating in Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations at Delhi.
Expressing his happiness on the appointment of both students, NCC in charge Dr. (Lt.) Karanbir Singh congratulated them and said that 5 NCC cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College have joined the Indian Army in the last two years.
In the end Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh wished both the cadets for a better future.
