University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh alumnus Yash Pal Singh has been awarded with “Asia’s Best HR Leader to work with” Award in the Asia Pacific Future Skills Leadership Summit 2025.

Chandigarh, April 22, 2025: University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh alumnus Yash Pal Singh has been awarded with “Asia’s Best HR Leader to work with” Award in the Asia Pacific Future Skills Leadership Summit 2025.
Asia Pacific Future Skills Leadership Summit was jointly organised by Talent Value Media and 1st India News in Mumbai. Top HR Professionals from across the continent participated in the Summit. Yash hails from Sirsa (Haryana) and has done his MBA from UBS in the year 2003. He has given his services in BMR Advisors, Eureka Forbes and Olam International before joining Ebro India wherein he is leading HR for the last 12 years.
Expressing pleasure at the award, the Chairperson of UBS, Professor Parmjit Kaur said that the whole UBS team including all faculty members and office staff are feeling immense pride on this achievement of Yash who is a former UBS student of 2003 batch. The winners went through a challenging criteria of Industry feedback and round of interviews with the jury members.
The jury has selected Yash on the basis of his efforts in establishing a great place to work culture in Ebro India in terms of employee engagement, learning & development, and reward & performance management system. Apart from this, he has been visiting various top B-Schools including IIM, NMIMS, PIBM, and JIMS to deliver guest lectures.
Yash has earlier awarded by World HRD Congress with Top Most HR Leaders Award in 2022.
Yash Pal Singh, a former student of UBS, Panjab University after receiving the award thanked Chairperson of UBS, Professor Parmjit Kaur and all faculty members who taught him including Prof. Luxmi Malodia, Prof. Anupam Bawa, Prof. Gunmala Suri, Prof. K K Mangla, Prof. P P Arya, Prof. B L Dubey, Prof. Meenakshi Malhotra, Prof. Manoj Sharma, Prof. Sanjay Kaushik and all non-teaching staff for their guidance and blessings in shaping his career in such a way that he is achieving greater milestones.
Prof. Parmjit Kaur said that whenever a student achieves something in life, not only parents but teachers too feel same level of happiness as they have a great role in shaping the life of a student. Also when a student grows in life and achieves the great milestones, it serves as a sweet fruit for the teacher for his/her efforts which he/she has put for the student. Yash is really making UBS proud of his success and current students will also be getting inspiration from his achievements.
