Chandigarh, August 13, 2024: University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized its Induction Program for MBA courses today. The University Business School welcomed around 58 students in its Post Graduate Programs offered as Master of Business Administration (Executives) and Master of Commerce (Honors).

Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Chairperson, UBS briefed about the strong foundations of UBS committed to nurturing the next generation of business leaders and the importance of conducting an Induction Program every year where she emphasized on the opportunities for its students to enhance their understanding of economic, social and political environment to broaden their horizon not only to adjust to change but to become catalyst, and to develop their power to conceptualize.

The Chief Guest, Harshvir Singh, Managing Director of Drish Infotech Limited with over 25 years of experience and an illustrious alumnus of UBS stated that this is crucial to create a strong network that benefits those graduating from the institution. He added that UBS has an unwavering dedication to providing a transformative educational experience. The Guest of honor Prof. Amit Chauhan, Dean Students Welfare emphasized the importance of consistency as the key to success. He also addressed the growing issue of depression among young students and assured his support and guidance to all students of Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Prof. Parmjit Kaur introduced all the faculty members to new students of MBA Executive and M.Com Honours Batch 2024-2026. Dr. Tilak Raj, Associate Professor, coordinator of UBS Business Club, expressed a heartfelt vote of thanks to the dignitaries and students.
