UBS student bags 53 lakh package

Chandigarh, January 9, 2019: University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh released the Interim Final Placement Report of MBA/MBA(IB)/MBA(HR)-2nd Year students of 2017-2019 at UBS, here today. Professor Deepak Kapur, Chairperson, UBS informed that the highest salary of Rs 53Lacs to Mr AkashRaiMBA-2nd Year student of UBS by M/s Tolaram Group. Average Salary of the students was Rs 11.78lacs. 25% of the Batch (2017-2019) got placed in Research, Consultancy and Advisory roles in companies such as HSBC, Smartcube, EY, Kornferry etc., informed Prof. Kapur. He further added that 17% got placed in Banking, Finance Sector Institutions (BFSI) like HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, SBI Life, ICICI Prudential and 7.1 % placed in FMCG and FMCD companies like Tolaram Group, Volvo, Mahindra, TVS also. Other 25.9% students were placed in IT firms like Infosys, IBM etc and 15.5% placed in manufacturing like Trident, SKF etc. Mr Nandit Gupta, Student Placement Coordinator gave a brief power point presentation on the Placement Report. On this occasion, faculty and students were present.
