Students participate in a fresher party “ZEST 2014”organised by University College of Commerce & Management of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo.
Talwandi Sabo, September 29, 2014: University College of Commerce & Management of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organised a fresher party “ZEST 2014” which marks the starting of new session. Fresher party was attended by the dignitaries of GKU including Satish Goswami Registrar, Dr. Narinder Singh Director (Finance), Dr. D.R. Godara Dean (Student Welfare), & Dr.Amandeep Singh Dean (UCCM).
Function was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp and address by Mr. Satish Goswami (Registrar, GKU). Registrar emphasised on importance of discipline in life and shared his experiences with students. Performances by students included Solo Dance, Group Dance, Bhangra & Plays. Students also presented Choreography “The Race of Life” with a message to spread awareness about female foeticide & drugs.
Moksh Loomba & Jyotsana Sharma were declared Mr.Fresher & Miss. Fresher respectively.
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu (Managing Director, GKU) also congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Management Dean, Dr. Amandeep Singh & staff for maximum participation of the students in the arrangement of function and maintaining exemplary discipline.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor said that fresher parties are the best tool of introduction of the students and this also helps in creating good rapport among the students and faculty.
